Matching a 40m Doublet fed with 300 Ohm Twinlead
This test compares 6 different antenna tuners + the FT-450D's built-in ATU.
This seems like a fairly straight forward test. The Ten-Tec 227, MFJ-942, MFJ-969, and the tuner in the lower right of the photo are all T-Matche tuners. We would expect similar results.

SURPRISE!
The ranking of the tuners changed significantly from band to band.
There was as much as 3dB difference between best and worst!
The clear winner was a tuner most people have never heard of.
In this chart, Dale listed the most efficient tuner on the top, and then ranked the others according to dB loss. The amount of loss of each tuner compared to the best tuner is color coded.
