Field Work

FIRST FIELD WORK

15-March-2023

Edsel Murphy

Rick thinks he's going to do antenna work today . . . NOT ON MY WATCH!

Up bright and early, ready to go to the field to erect the 12m fiberglass pole.

Through the slits in the the venetian blinds it seemed to be a bright sunny day today.

When I raised the blinds, this is what greeted me:

(View from the shack window): Snowflakes the size of half-dollars...larger than a 2-Euro coin.

(View of fg pole):  No point in even trying to stand on the snow-capped rock to push up the pole.

It seems Edsel Murphy got up earlier this morning than I did!

For some reason, that old song by Herman's Hermits kept going through my mind:

No Milk Today
